This painting featured in the 2018 Foothills Retrospective hosted by the Okotoks Art Gallery and curated by Calgary University Dean of Arts Brian Rusted and art critic Katherine Ylitalo. It is of a first nations reserve and is one of many paintings the artist has done in a series embracing the metaphoric possibilities of a trailer home. It embraces their visual ability to depict poverty, isolation, the fall of middle class America, as well as the complexity and trauma of the indigenous situation.
