ArtMatch often works with commercial clients seeking unique artworks for their workspaces.
Leith Wheeler is a local investment firm that wanted to complete a renovation with one-of-a-kind art. The partners of the firm specified an interest in Western Canadian themes, and we installed two large, beautiful paintings in the main office hallway (image above).
Vandy visited the Leith Wheeler office to get a sense of their style and interests. For the longer wall we suggested Sky Islands by Rosanna Marmont, which features a vibrant sky and the abstracted Alberta badlands. Rosanna helped install the large 8′ x 4′ painting, shown below. We love how the natural grain of the wood mixes with the contours of the hills and cloudy sky!

The client also selected Daniel Culcea’s painting Cavalcade, featuring five galloping horses, a perfect symbol for the five partners. The palette contrasted nicely against the brown accent wall. Daniel came in with Rosanna to help install his painting, and the clients enjoyed meeting both artists and hearing about their processes and inspirations.

“Vandy’s background in interior design and fine arts was a perfect combination to advise us. Being in charge of office art selection can be daunting; Vandy helped make everything smooth and easy!”
