Working with all water medias products including acrylics, she loves exploring. Sheila paints quickly with bold brush marks and layering colours right on the canvas. She describes her process as “freeing,” and often works from sketches. Being in the studio is a place to explore broad ideas. It suits her personality to focus intensely on the task at hand; analyzing and contemplating, working out details before returning to the easel.
